The PGA Tour's Farmers Insurance Open is played over Torrey Pines Golf Course's North and South municipal courses above the Pacific, drawing the tour's top field to a public course each January. The tournament has been a fixture on the PGA Tour schedule for decades and returned to a traditional Thursday to Sunday finish in 2026. Spectators can walk the bluffside holes overlooking Black's Beach for free grounds access on practice days.
