The Knights of Ecor Rouge parade opens Fairhope's Mardi Gras season on the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay, rolling through downtown with floats and marching bands. The Baldwin County parades are smaller and more local than Mobile's citywide Carnival but follow the same krewe tradition. Later parades in the same season include the Maids of Jubilee and the Order of Mystic Magnolias.
