The self-declared Stone Crab Capital of the World throws a three-day festival of local seafood, live music, and craft vendors outside Everglades City Hall each February. It has run for over fifty years and pulls tens of thousands of visitors into a town of under 400 people. Proceeds support the volunteer fire department and local charities.
