The Elk Country Visitor Center in the heart of Pennsylvania's wild elk range hosts this weekend expo of elk calling contests, wildlife seminars and over 100 outdoor vendors each year. The Keystone Elk Country Alliance, the nonprofit that built and runs the visitor center, has organized the expo for more than two decades. Pennsylvania's free ranging elk herd, reintroduced from the west in the early 1900s, is the main draw for visitors year round.
