The Boston Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival has raced traditional dragon boats on the Charles River near the John W. Weeks Footbridge since the late 1970s. The free festival day also includes lion dances, martial arts demonstrations, and Asian food vendors. It is organized with support from the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office.
