A two-day star party held each September at Bear Creek Log Cabins near St. Joe, adjacent to the Buffalo National River's International Dark Sky Park. Telescope viewing, astrophotography workshops and children's astronomy activities draw stargazers to the Ozark ridge. It is run by the Arkansas Natural Sky Association and has run annually since the park's dark-sky designation.
