Troy tore through its farm township in a single postwar generation, so residents who formed a historical society in 1966 gathered up what was left and moved it onto one site: a log cabin, a brick one room school, a print shop, a wagon shop, a general store, a church and a parsonage. It is a nineteenth century township reassembled behind a city hall.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
