At 975 feet long and 102 feet high this is the longest wooden railway trestle in the Pacific Northwest. It carried a single Northern Pacific track across a valley that was once an arm of Lake Washington, on a branch line running from Renton north to Snohomish. Freight moved over it six days a week before BNSF gave the route up, including trains hauling Boeing fuselages south to the Renton assembly plant. The deck is a walking trail now.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
