The Warner Parks

Three thousand acres of hardwood ridge on the western edge of Nashville, given and assembled by the Warner brothers and their families and built out by the Works Progress Administration, whose stone gates, walls and steps are still the way in. It holds a steeplechase course, bridle paths and one of the oldest golf courses in the state, and it is large enough that most of it is simply woods.
