The St. Augustine Alligator Farm, open since 1893

Anastasia Island, St. Augustine, Florida

It opened on 20 May 1893 as a small reptile exhibit at the far end of the Anastasia Island beach railway, back when a rail line to the shore needed something waiting at the other end to sell tickets. It moved to its present site in 1920 and is among the oldest attractions still running in Florida. It now keeps all twenty four living species of crocodilian.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
