The Rose Palace, a barn built for parade floats
1964
South Raymond Avenue, Pasadena, California
The Tournament of Roses Association put this building up on South Raymond Avenue in 1964, one of three float barns built in the middle of the century. Floats for the New Year's Day parade are assembled here between October and the end of December. Commercial float builders have worked out of it for most of its life.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
