The Primanti sandwich
1933
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Public domain · Wikimedia Commons
Built for truckers in the produce yards who wanted to eat with one hand, so the fries and the coleslaw went inside the bread with the meat. The Strip District stand stayed open all night and the sandwich never changed.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
