The Pantages Theater, built for the vaudeville circuit that carried the name
1918
Tacoma, Washington
Public domain · Wikimedia Commons
Alexander Pantages commissioned this house in 1916 for his vaudeville chain and it opened in January 1918. B. Marcus Priteca, the architect who designed most of the circuit, folded a theatre and an office building into one Second Renaissance Revival block. It was remodelled in 1955, restored in the early 1980s, and still runs as a working theatre.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
