The Old State House
1713
Boston, Massachusetts
Robert Linsdell from St. Andrews, Canada · CC BY 2.0 · Wikimedia Commons
The oldest surviving public building in Boston, with a lion and unicorn still on the gables. The Declaration was first read to the city from its balcony in July 1776, after which the crowd pulled the royal beasts down and burned them.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
