The Killdozer rampage
2004
Granby, Colorado
Marvin Heemeyer spent a year and a half quietly armouring a Komatsu bulldozer with layers of steel and concrete inside his own muffler shop, then drove it out through the wall on June 4, 2004 and spent two hours and seven minutes flattening the property of the people he blamed for a zoning fight he had lost. Thirteen buildings were wrecked, among them the town hall, the concrete plant next door to his shop, the newspaper office and a hardware store, at a cost of roughly seven million dollars.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
