Six Muslim families and a handful of students who had been praying in each other's houses incorporated this association in 1969. It bought three frame houses in Grand Prairie first, then a house and barn on Abrams Road in Richardson in 1979, and built the Dallas Central Mosque on the site between 1982 and 1984. It is now the largest mosque in the Dallas and Fort Worth area and runs schools, a seminary and a sports programme alongside it.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
