Wiley G. Clarkson designed a good deal of Fort Worth between the wars, including buildings at the Masonic Home across town, and finished this lodge on Henderson Street in 1931. It sits between Neoclassical and the stripped early Moderne that public works building would make standard in the following decade. The exterior has barely changed since, and it was listed on the National Register in 2017.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
