The Flora-Bama and the mullet toss

A beach roadhouse squatting directly on the Florida-Alabama line since 1964, big enough to get lost in and famous enough that Kenny Chesney wrote it a song. Every April thousands gather for the Interstate Mullet Toss, in which contestants throw a dead mullet from a circle in Florida across the state line into Alabama. There are rules, officials and records. Nobody remembers why, and nobody thinks that matters.
