Sikeston and the throwed rolls
1942
Sikeston, Missouri
A cafe where the dinner rolls are thrown across the room to you underhand, a practice that began when a crowded counter made passing them impractical and a customer told the owner to just throw it. It has become the reason people leave the interstate here, and the rolls come with sorghum.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
