The Bourbon Trail
1964
Bardstown, Kentucky

Congress declared bourbon a distinctive product of the United States in 1964. It must be at least 51 percent corn and aged in new charred oak, and about 95 percent is made in Kentucky, where limestone water and swings between hot and cold summers and winters push the spirit in and out of the wood.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
