Showmen's Rest and the stone elephants with lowered trunks

The Showmen's League of America bought a 750 plot section of Woodlawn Cemetery in 1917. Within a year it was needed. A troop train whose engineer had fallen asleep ran into the Hagenbeck Wallace circus train near Hammond, Indiana in June 1918, killing as many as 86 people. Dozens of the dead were buried here under markers reading Unknown Male and Four Horse Driver, and five stone elephants with lowered trunks stand over the plot.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
