Roosevelt's Springwood
1882
Hyde Park, New York
Public domain · Wikimedia Commons
Franklin Roosevelt was born in this house and came back to it all his life, running campaigns from the library and bringing Churchill and the King and Queen of England here. He built the first presidential library in the grounds and gave it to the nation while still in office, which is why every president since has had one. He and Eleanor are buried in the rose garden.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
