Arthur Penn shot part of Bonnie and Clyde in this town of a few hundred people west of Denton, using the old Ponder State Bank on East Bailey Street as the Farmers State Bank the pair rob on screen. The film crew found a main street of a few small buildings that had barely changed since the 1930s and did not have to dress it much. The building is still standing.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
