Phoenix Rising FC could not get a stadium built in Phoenix or Tempe, so it leased ground from the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community and put up a privately funded 6,200-seat modular ground in 53 days. It opened on 25 March 2017 with 6,890 people watching a match against Toronto FC II, and the signing of Didier Drogba that year drew far more attention to a second-division club than it would otherwise have had. The team left the site after the 2020 season.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
