Pawtucket Congregational Church and its Revere bell
1898

The congregation formed in 1797 so that families on this side of the Merrimack would not have to travel to the centre of Dracut for worship. The Queen Anne and Romanesque Revival building standing today went up in 1898, on ground where the Pennacook sachem Passaconaway is recorded as having lived. Its tower carries a bell cast at the Revere foundry in 1822.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
