Mission Nombre de Dios, the oldest mission still standing

Franciscans founded the mission in 1587 on the west shore of Matanzas Bay, on ground where the expedition of Pedro Menendez de Aviles had come ashore twenty two years earlier. It is likely the oldest surviving mission in the continental United States. The Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche on the same grounds is the oldest Marian shrine in the region.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
