Lincoln's home, the only house he ever owned

He bought it for fifteen hundred dollars and a lot, raised it to two storeys when the family outgrew it, and sold the furniture before leaving for Washington. Three of his four sons lived here and one of them died here. It is the only house Lincoln ever owned, and the National Park Service keeps the whole four blocks around it as they stood, so the street reads as a street rather than a shrine with a car park.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
