Boeing founded at the Red Barn
1916
Museum of Flight, Seattle
Public domain · Wikimedia Commons
A timber heir built seaplanes in a boatyard on the Duwamish after deciding he could do better than the aircraft he had flown in. The Red Barn was floated down the river in 1975 and preserved. Boeing sold furniture in the 1920s to survive.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
