The county's old jail on South Third Street now holds the county's history. A local historical society put the idea forward in 1975 and named itself for Duncan Lamont Clinch, the general the fort up the road is named for. The collection it was built around came from William Decker, a resident who spent years gathering local documents and objects and left the lot to his son.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
