525 Cooper Street and the lawyer who wrote the county's history
1925
Camden, New Jersey
Public domain · Wikimedia Commons
Charles S. Boyer replaced his own rowhouse with this tan brick Mission Revival professional building in 1925, as Cooper Street turned from mansions into law offices. Boyer ran a bank by day and wrote the standard histories of Camden County by night. The building is listed on the National Register for its architecture and its place in the city's legal quarter.
