In January 2007 one of the best violinists alive stood by a rubbish bin at the top of the escalators in a baseball cap and played six pieces of Bach and Schubert on a Stradivarius worth about three and a half million dollars. In forty three minutes, 1,097 people went past. Twenty seven put money down, totalling thirty two dollars and seventeen cents, and seven actually stopped to listen. One recognised him.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
