Virtual Railfan keeps a camera pointed at the double track crossing on East Sharon Road in the middle of Glendale, north of Cincinnati, and it runs all night to nobody in particular. At about ten to five one morning in February 2025 a car came down Sharon Road without slowing, took the raised crossing at speed and left the ground. A Glendale officer happened to be parked a few yards from the tracks watching the same crossing. His lights come on and he pulls out after the car. What made the clip travel is the camera: it is a fixed railfan feed that exists to film trains, so the framing is wide, patient and completely indifferent, and the whole thing plays out in one unbroken shot with nobody behind the lens. Local stations picked it up that week. What happened to the driver afterwards was never reported.
