Burger King foot lettuce
Burger King, 6251 Mayfield Road, Mayfield Heights, Ohio
![]()
On 16 July 2012 a Burger King employee posted a photo of himself standing in two restaurant bins of shredded lettuce, captioned this is the lettuce you eat at Burger King. Users read the location straight out of the picture, using the GPS coordinates left in its Exif data along with a barcode visible on a box behind him, and named the store within about fifteen minutes. Three employees were fired. Years later a countdown video narrating the story turned the phrase into one of the most repeated audio memes on the internet, by which point almost nobody knew it happened at a real address.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
