On the second Saturday of every month, Wynwood's galleries, murals, and creative spaces open late for a free art walk that helped put the district on the map for locals and visitors alike. The Wynwood Business Improvement District organizes the walk, which now draws thousands to a neighborhood with more than 70 galleries and museums. It grew alongside the district's mural scene in the 2000s.
