Folk musicians converge on Woody Guthrie's hometown each July for a multi day festival of open mic nights, songwriting workshops, and evening main stage shows at Pastures of Plenty. Now in its third decade, the festival falls on the weekend closest to Guthrie's July 14 birthday. A free children's festival runs alongside the main program.
