A 228-mile mid-distance sled dog race starting and finishing in downtown Marquette, run as an official Iditarod qualifier. The February weekend is celebrated locally as the Festival of the Sled Dog, with the Midnight Run and Jack Pine 30 companion races on the same trail system.
