Trolley Dances leads audiences on the San Diego Trolley to a series of site specific dance performances staged at stations and nearby public spaces, with a different route each year. Produced by San Diego Dance Theater, the free weekend event has run since 2003 and pairs professional choreographers with each stop's architecture and neighborhood. Riders follow a set group schedule between performance sites using their trolley ticket for the day.
