What began as a joke about a giant tomato painting at a Five Points gallery in 2004 has grown into East Nashville's signature neighborhood festival, with costume contests, a Bloody Mary competition and live music filling the streets. It remains free and is shaped as much by its neighbors as by any sponsor. The 2027 weekend has not yet been announced; the last two editions both landed in early August.
