A free bluegrass jam held every Friday night from April to mid-December in the barn beside Bill Monroe's childhood home in Rosine, birthplace of bluegrass music. The evening opens with an informal open mic before the house band and guest pickers take over. It has been a weekly gathering point for the genre's fans for more than three decades.
