The Pat Tillman Foundation's memorial run covers 4.2 miles through Tempe to honor the former Cardinals safety's jersey number, finishing on the 42-yard line at Mountain America Stadium. It has run since 2005 and draws tens of thousands of participants who fundraise for the foundation's veteran and military-spouse scholarships.
