Costumed performers stage a recreation of a 1580s English market town at the Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area, with jousting tournaments, Celtic dance and folk music across the grounds each weekend. First held at Paramount Ranch in Agoura in 1963, it was America's first modern Renaissance faire and now draws more than 200,000 visitors across its run. It operates weekends from the first weekend of April through the weekend before Memorial Day.
