The Navy's Bay Bridge Run and Walk sends thousands of runners over the Coronado Bridge on a course normally closed to foot traffic, finishing at Coronado's Tidelands Park. Organized by Navy Region Southwest, the race has run nearly every year since the late 1980s and sells out its field of walkers and runners. The four mile route offers views across San Diego Bay to the downtown skyline.
