The Mystic Krewe of Barkus is a Mardi Gras parade for costumed dogs and their owners, rolling through the French Quarter since 1993. Each year's parade follows a satirical theme and crowns a dog as King or Queen of the krewe. Proceeds benefit the Louisiana SPCA.
