Caribbean-American carnival celebrating Trinidadian and broader Caribbean culture since 1984. The multi-day celebration runs Junior Carnival, J'ouvert at dawn, and a costumed Mas Parade and concert over Columbus Day weekend at the Miami-Dade County Fairgrounds. It draws tens of thousands of masqueraders and spectators from across the Caribbean diaspora.
