Mayberry Days celebrates the legacy of The Andy Griffith Show in Andy Griffith's hometown of Mount Airy, with concerts, a parade, and appearances by cast members' families each September. The Surry Arts Council has run the festival since the early 1990s. It draws Andy Griffith Show fans from across the country to walk the streets that inspired fictional Mayberry.
