Uptown Super Sunday brings dozens of Mardi Gras Indian tribes out in their handsewn suits to parade and perform around A.L. Davis Park, organized by the New Orleans Mardi Gras Indian Council. It falls on the Sunday closest to St. Joseph's Day each March. A separate Downtown Super Sunday is held around Bayou St. John a few weeks later.
