An Unlimited hydroplane race on the Ohio River at Madison, held every Independence Day weekend since 1951. Boats topping 200 miles per hour race a straightaway course watched from the town's historic riverfront and bluffs, and the event has hosted the sport's APBA Gold Cup several times. Madison's regatta committee is the longest continuously active in the Unlimited series.
