Free outdoor concerts spread along Figueroa Boulevard and into Sycamore Grove Park for Highland Park's signature arts weekend, founded by neighborhood activists in 2006 to celebrate Northeast LA's music and arts scene. Poets, dancers and visual artists join musicians on stages running from Avenue 50 to Avenue 60. The festival falls on Memorial Day weekend and has recently partnered with the Arroyo Secodelic music series.
