The Intergalactic Krewe of Chewbacchus is a science fiction and nerd culture Mardi Gras parade founded in 2011, with marchers pulling hand-built floats through the Marigny and French Quarter. Sub krewes build costumes and throws around a different science fiction theme each year. It is one of the first walking parades of Carnival season.
