Bishop Hill, a Swedish immigrant colony founded in 1846 and now a National Historic Landmark, holds Jordbruksdagarna, or Agricultural Days, each fall. The festival brings out antique tractors, Nordic music and dance, and colony-era craft demonstrations across the village park. It has run for more than fifty consecutive years.
